Trip to Vegas

Last Tuesday we left for Las Vegas. I was pretty excited to leave for vacation, I've been pretty bored since I finished my summer class and had a few weeks before I started the PTA Program. David has driven through the strip before but I've never even been to Nevada. We were able to get a really good deal through bookit.com and stayed at the Venetian for three nights. We left around 1pm and got there about 5pm, so we still had the entire evening. After we checked in we grabbed some dinner, checked out the canal shops at our hotel and then hit the strip to walk to the Bellagio to see the fountain show. I liked where we stayed because it was pretty close to every thing we wanted to see. The next day we walked and walked and walked. So much walking, but we saw I think almost every hotel. My favorites were Caesar's palace, Bellagio, and the Wynn. I also enjoyed the lions at the MGM Grand, the M&M store (it was 4 stores), and the canals at the Venetian. There was so much to see. The next day we got to relax. We spent the morning by the pool. Oh and did I mention that it was HOT. It was 108 the day we left, but I think it was hotter than that prior. We hung around the casino for a little while and David won 30 bucks at the slots (he put in 5) so he was pretty stoked about that. Did you know you have to be 21 to gamble in the state of Nevada! I'm pretty sure it's only 18 in California and Washington. LAME. So I was afraid to win anything but we still had fun. Our last night we saw Blue Man Group. We had received free tickets to the show through the hotel deal. It was pretty funny and entertaining. We sat in the third row so we had to wear ponchos to protect us from paint splatter.
Here are a few pictures of our trip.

At the Bellagio waiting for the water show to start

Sipping a pina colada at Treasure Island.

Here are a few pictures of our hotel room. The bathroom was awesome! It had a separate roman style tub. It kinda reminded my of grandma and grandpa carders old bathroom.

Here is a clip of the water show at the Bellagio. I liked it better at night... but here is the day one.
